Through a collaborative effort, our team of Sports Scientists & Physique Coaches have developed a 12-week program that is designed to maximise hypertrophy of the arms (specifically the biceps and triceps). All of the key variables of program design (volume, frequency, intensity, exercise selection etc) have been biased towards optimising growth of the upper arm, without neglecting other major muscle groups. The goal is to make you look great overall, just with a little arm-emphasis! Not only is this specialisation program enjoyable, but challenging, most importantly it has been proven to produce results.
Jackson –
I recently completed the arm specialisation template as I was looking to build upper body size for boxing, particularly arms which have always been a weak point for me. The flexibility to select exercises that I could complete pain free, and the spread of upper body volume across the 5-day split meant that I could complete my boxing training without muscle soreness, and without compromising recovery. For someone who is looking for more structure in their training, who struggles to add arm size, and/or for a sports athlete who can’t handle a lot of compound or lower body work without a trade off in their sports training, I highly recommend this program.

I recently completed the arm specialization program which has been by far my favorite program to date. The program helped me make some huge gains both mentally and physically and keep me motivated, but most of all it was a very enjoyable program to follow. JPS has been like a second home to me with the best coaches and members around and I look forward to getting back on the program early in the new year.

For many guys, the arms are the hardest body part to bring up and add size to. If you’ve been training consistently and are looking for accelerated arm growth, then the arm spec phase is exactly what you’re looking for. The key to the program is the high volumes distributed in a manner which allows for maximal stimulation throughout the week. In 12 weeks, I noticed a considerable increase in arm girth as well as a noticeable performance increase in my isolation work.

After seeing Jacob talk about his Arms Specialisation/ Physique Development program and reaching a plateau in my own inconsistent training, I gave Jacobs generic program a go, firstly I thought ‘Damn for a generic program this is very detailed and customizable!” I was able to choose the exercises that best suited me and my injuries while still keeping on track, focusing on my upper body while also not neglecting my lower half. I trained relatively consistently around my shift work and also traveling interstate around 4-5 sessions a week, also tracking my meals using the prescribed My Fitness Pal app. My goal was to drop body fat and after 12 weeks I dropped 5kg (from 81.8kg to 76.6kg) sitting in a calorie deficit at around 1800 calories a day, and although I tried my best to maintain these calories there were certainly days when I opted for the drive-thru over cooking at home and sat closer to 2300+ calories (joy of flexible dieting), and I was still able to drop some good weight, my plan is to restart the program again for another 12 weeks. For someone who is just starting out or for advanced lifters that have reached a plateau, I would highly recommend the program or working with JPS in any form
