Bridging The Gap Series

$12000

Students spend the better part of a 4-5 year degree learning about the human body, how to diagnose and how to treat from a hands-on perspective. One would think that the amount of time dedicated to studying these topics would cover everything needed to succeed in the workforce and have the necessary practical abilities, right?! Unfortunately this isn’t the case.
JPS are presenting physical therapy students with the opportunity to expose themselves to the resistance training world, where they can gain valuable insight about anatomy, physiology, training principles, exercise prescription and much, much more. Bridging the gap is about filling in some of the missing pieces relating to rehab, and how resistance training can be used in several clinic contexts. Students will leave confident that they can help future patients through movement (where appropriate), allowing them to put the physical back into physical therapy.
