Yes, you have read correctly. JPS will be taking to Bali for our inaugural retreat in May 2023. It has been a long time in the making, but it’s finally here and now is your chance to join the JPS Team in Seminyak on a not to be missed retreat. The retreat will boast a heap of inclusions for our guests, with group lunches, training sessions, yoga and even a well deserved night out!!!

Come and join in on the fun, our 5 day retreat will be a highlight of your year! Spots are limited to 25 guests!

IMPORTANT INFO

Flights: Flights are not included, and guests will need to make their own flight arrangements to Bali for the retreat,

as well as arranging transport to and from the villa.

Dates: 11-15th of May 2023

Deposit: $399 paid to secure your position, and will be deducted from the full cost.

Deposits are non-refundable!

Remaining Amount: Will become due 60 days before the retreat starts.

Please Note: All villas are shared by 2 people. If booking with a partner or friend we will ensure you are in the same room.

Solo travellers will be paired up by gender.

Unlike many retreats the beauty of the JPS retreat is that we will have an entire resort to ourselves rather than sharing

accommodation with anyone external, meaning the entire villas amenities are entirely for our use!!! We cannot wait!!!

FAQs

Which Airport in Bali do I fly to?

Denpasar International Airport. The airport is approximately 30 minutes from the hotel. Transfers are not included, everyone needs to find their own way to accommodation. We ask that every one arrives on time as to ensure they do not miss out on introductions and Welcome lunch on Day 1!
How do I get from the airport to the retreat?

There are plenty of taxis available at the airport at the exit and it will cost about 350-450,00 IDR
Does your retreat include flights?

Flights are not included. This will also allow for flexibility should you wish to extend your stay prior or post retreat!
What is required to travel to Indonesia?
What you need to travel to Bali (as of 22nd June 2022):
- You will need to be double vaccinated and to download the International Vaccination Certificate.
- You no longer require a PCR test prior to travel. You will be temperature checked on arrival and departure of Indonesia.
- Unvaccinated travellers can enter Bali / Indonesia only if they are medically exempted (comorbidity diseases or other reasons that clearly state that for medical reasons they can not be vaccinated). You need: Medical statement letter from a doctor explaining the medical/health conditions and reason for vaccination exemption.
- Download the Pedulilindungi App.
- Travel insurance that covers covid related costs.
- You will need to fill out a declaration form online prior to arrival to Denpasar Airport.
- You will need to purchase a Visa on Arrival (VOA) which costs approx. AU$50.
- Follow advice on Smart Traveller (for Australians) or your local country travel advice website for any updated information.
What time should I arrive on DAY 1 of the retreat?

We recommend arriving from 11am, however rooms will not be ready until 3pm. We will leave belongings at resort and head out for a welcome lunch and meet and greet nearby at 12pm! Please ensure you have organised flights and considered time to get to the resort!
What time should I book my flight for on DAY 5?

We will start the last day with an optional workout and breakfast and then check-out by 11am. We recommend booking your flight post lunchtime onwards on the last day or stay and enjoy more time either side of the retreat, it is your choice!
If I come solo will I get paired with someone in a room?

All rooms are shared by 2 people. If booking with a partner or friend we will ensure you are in the same room. Solo travellers will be paired up by gender and it is a great opportunity to make a new friend. Some rooms will have two seperate beds. A questionnaire will be sent out with options upon booking.
What’s the average age bracket and what is the minimum age?

Majority of our guests range between 18 and 60! All guests must be 18+
Is there much free time?

There is plenty of free time as well as optional activities!
Do I need travel insurance?
We still strongly advise getting travel insurance. Here are some key reasons to still get travel insurance:
- Natural Disaster
- Baggage (including any items that may not be covered by your home contents insurance – think electronics or jewellery)
- Sports Equipment (should you bring anything of your own)
- Liability (if you accidentally injure someone else, damage or loose someone’s property)
- Medical expenses including covid-19 cover
Do I have to participate in every activity?

We encourage guests to take part in all activities over the week but we understand that sometimes you just want some free time! Ultimately it's up to you! We highly encourage everyone to partake in as many activities to get the most out of the 5 days!
What is the exact location of the resort?

How do the gym sessions work?

Gym sessions will be open floor , which means you can continue your usual training program. However, it is important to note that you must be prepared for pick up as per itinerary as to not miss transport to the gym! You will have 1.5 hours to us the gym before we are transported back to accommodation. The time frame is to ensure we are back in time for next activities. You will be able to ask any gym related questions during your sessions with the JPS team! On one of the days a small practical component will be run at the gym, this will be more of a trouble shooting workshop and you will still be able to complete your session.
