Looking to take your lifting game to the next level? Learn 2 Lift is back!
This one day intensive in-person workshop covers the fundamentals of strength training by taking a deep dive into both the science and practice of strength training.To kickstart the day, we delve into the physiology of hypertrophy and strength, covering how picking up heavy things and putting them down results in a flurry of fascinating bodily changes. Next up, anatomy and biomechanics – this part of the presentation covers general concepts relating to structure and function and how the mechanical aspects of the human body influence performance, in particular with the squat, bench and deadlift. Last but not least, the practical component. Knowing the theory is all well and good, but it doesn’t mean much if you can’t meaningfully apply it in a real world setting. Our coaches run through how to apply the science and give you the tools to take your lifting game up a notch (or two)!
